the dedication of Isla

Heya!  Today, I just wanted to share a little photo recap of our weekend.  We dedicated our daughter, Isla, at church on Sunday.  It was such a special day and time with our family, but most of all, special for our little girl.  We are honored that everyone showed up to see her be dedicated to be a follower of God.  Thank you to everyone who made it (and to her extended family that lives far away and couldn’t make it but was with us to support her in spirit).

In true spirit of this blog, I have to throw in just a LIL fashion.  But it’s baby fashion!! HA!  I searched for weeks to find the perfect dress for our little Isla.  I wanted white, to represent the purity of her, but didn’t want it to be too traditional.  So I found this adorable little dress with a blue sash and a pink flower on it (which apparently, are Isla’s theme colors since her room is decorated in the same colors). She’s wearing a 6/9 month dress (finally!).  I wanted to find a super special bow to match, and Anna from Lucky Crickets on Etsy custom made this headband for her.  She put it together very quickly and shipped it right away and I was SO happy with the level of service.  Btw – if you shop her Etsy shop, use the code “5TESS” to get 5% off your purchase!!

Now for the fun stuff, the photo montage!!  We are so very blessed. <3

Some decor to celebrate – our passage for Isla was Numbers 6:24 —

24 “‘“The Lord bless you
    and keep you;
25 the Lord make his face shine on you
    and be gracious to you;
26 the Lord turn his face toward you
    and give you peace.”’

Her bible shaped cake 🙂

Present time – naturally she loved the tissue paper the most at first.  Gracie is checking things out.

This little girl is truly the light of our lives.  She brings us more joy than you could ever imagine and she is the greatest gift from God.  If you don’t believe in miracles, just look at her!

We love you, Isla Noelle!! We are so blessed by YOU!
