Hey there, hi there!
Thanks for stopping by again this week for another edition of the Smart Style series!
I can’t believe we are already a month in! And with that, comes even more warmer weather outfits. Featured today is this adorable green vest!
This vest goes so well with so many things and in gearing up for the impending warmer weather, today I’ll show you how to style it with a tee and and a tank. But keep in mind, this utility vest goes with so much you already have in your closet!
Both my sister and I bought this vest weeks ago, and we have been wearing it on repeat. It looks great with long sleeved tees, on top of t-shirt dresses, with tanks and tees – like this one I’m wearing that is currently on sale for $5 and the material is A-mazing!!
My sis is pregnant with her first babe and is in that in-between place of dressing – she can still fit into the majority of her clothes, but that belly is just going to get bigger, so she’s trying to find cute ways to style her outfits. This vest is coming in so handy, because she can take basic pieces – like a long sleeved black tee and leggings, and jazz it up a bit with the cute camo green vest.
This vest is the perfect item to make old looks come to life and look new again! Vests just don’t have to be for the fall and winter, like we are so used to.
And at $23, it’s a great investment – I’ve been wearing mine once or twice a week and know it’ll just get more use when I start wearing t-shirt dresses with the warmer temps. (Vest and tee fit TTS – wearing XS in both. If between sizes, go up!)
And another way to style it, that we don’t often think of, is with a tank top. I love this black tank because it’s got a cute little front tie detail and is wallet-friendly at $13! I’m currently wearing it with black denim and a long cream sweater, getting use out of it even in this chilly weather we currently have.
So, friends, if ya can’t tell, I’m pretty obsessed with this utility jacket and really think you will love it too!
And isn’t it fun seeing these same jeans and shoes go unexpectedly with lots of different tops?
