Today I wanted to share a quick recap of some of the outfits I wore when we were in Puerto Rico last week. It was my brother-in-law, and new sister-in-law’s wedding and it was so so much fun! I feel like I didn’t even get pics of my outfits at times (that I was hoping to for this blog) just because there was so much going on. It was a whirlwind of a trip – and Puerto Rico is just absolutely stunning. They had the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever seen! Everything was done to just perfection and the venue was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been in my life! I’ll share my outfits then scroll down for some awesome photos.
It’s hard to go from super cold weather to super warm. So I decided to be as comfortable as possible, and changed my top to a tank on the plane. These leggings are just the cutest and are also great because they have breathable panels in them – so great for working out (if that’s how you choose to wear them) – but also great going into warmer weather. My sweatshirt was super comfy and love the brightness of the color – made me ready to take on the tropical weather.
Our first night out, everyone congregated at the lobby bar and I barely had time to change. So I threw on this simple swing tank with my favorite brand of white skinnies, and some camel colored wedges for contrast. Half tucked that bad boy, threw my hair in a low bun, some gloss, bronzer & mascara, and out the door!
Bachelor/Bachellorette Party on the catamaran
The bride and groom wanted a group party, so we decided to bring everyone together and spend the day on a catamaran. It made a couple of different stops and boats are always so windy, so I decided to braid my (already dirty) hair to keep it out of my face for the day. I wore this sweet little swimsuit because the tan lines would be ok with my bridesmaid dress ;). (Priorities).
Rehearsal Dinner Dress
The next night was the rehearsal dinner and I wanted something that was dressy enough, but still had a casual beachy feel. I found this off the shoulder dress with the slit in the legs at ASOS and was so happy with it. And I think it is a steal for $32! I think it’s perfect for summer date nights or a special event.
We were able to hang out by the pool a little bit between festivities. But prior to that, we needed to grab some food. I didn’t want to have to go up and change into my suit, so I wore it with these shorts (that I actually wore different times during the trip – that’s how much I love them) and a little kimono to cover up.
A little boomie boom of the swimsuit – since I didn’t get an actual photo in it!
**Full disclosure – the swimsuit that’s linked is the expensive version of it – I found mine as a dupe at online boutique – and it is identical! The problem is, they sold out and aren’t restocking it :(. But if you love the swimsuit and are willing to invest in it, the Nordstrom version is exactly the same, even just a bit better quality. I got a lot of compliments on it and felt like it had great coverage!
So there’s all the fashion info – wait til you see all the beauty of Puerto Rico below.
And a huge congrats to Drake and Stephanie Miller – wishing you a life long of pure happiness. Thank you for letting us be a part of your day!
