I hope you all are having a fabulous (and hopefully shortened) week – I can’t believe it’s already Thursday!
Today I wanted to share something that I’ve been asked for a lot that I often forget to do – some little girl fashion!
I had a hard time even figuring out what to name this post, because I kept wanting to call it “Mama Baby Fashion” or “Baby and Me Outfits” or something like that, and I realized my baby is just not really a baby anymore! Of course she will always be my baby, always be my little girl… But the way this girl has been running around talking up a storm, scaling stairs like it’s her job, and just communicating like a little human, it’s pretty undeniable that my baby isn’t so little anymore!
But my goodness, is she cute!
When I’m on the hunt for clothes for Isla, not too dissimilar to how I shop for myself, I eye things down and check out the prices. I then practice an inordinate amount of patience and wait until said items go on sale. I buy the majority of Isla’s clothes from The Gap, Old Navy, and Target. And the good thing is, all three of those places have sales all the time. The Gap and Old Navy tend to have much better pricing on the weekends – and Target runs a percentage off of clothing and shoes every couple of weeks. So I kind of mentally note what she is growing out of (like the new sandals I got her that she grew out of in a mere three weeks, for example) and what new items of clothing she needs for the new season. I then get a cart going at all of those places and check back on the weekends or when I get a good sale email from the retailer.
I loathe buying clothes full price – especially ones that go on sale days after you buy them. I try to be a really conscientious shopper so that I can have more clothing options, rather than breaking the bank by buying everything at full price. (I also refuse to pay for shipping, which is another story for another day – I have a problem). So I try to buy all of the clothes for my fam with that mindset.
You’ll see below that my button side top is under $20, my shorts (which have incredible coverage) are half price at $27, and my shoes are around the $30 price point. My top also comes in a different pattern AND plus sizes! Find direct links to our outfits below!
