I am a bit behind on posting this, but I wanted to share a few photos for Mother’s Day and link the outfits because, though I like sharing my own personal style, I find it even more fulfilling to share others!
Today’s post features my fam. My mom. The baby that made me a mom. The husband that helped me become one. And my sister – who is going to be one any day now (and is one hell of an aunt already).
We had a lovely morning going to brunch in Bloomington, where my sister lives. It was her 30th birthday on Saturday, so we went down to visit and were able to stay for the morning over Mother’s Day, so I could be with my own mama too since she was meeting us in Bloomington. After years of not being with her for Mother’s Day (we live 3 hours apart), it has been so nice to be able to be with her on Mother’s Day the last two, and even more special now that I am a mom too!
The restaurant experience was a bit of a disaster, but it was still so lovely to just be with my people!
Anyhoo. I’ve had lots of questions recently about our daughter, Isla’s, outfits and requests to share her info on here! I have to say though, I can’t even take credit for her outfit for Mother’s Day. My hubs knew I was planning to wear a yellow top for the day and went and picked out her little dress himself as a surprise present for MD for me! He did such a great job!
I hope you had a lovely weekend with you and yours!!

*side note – I sized up in my yellow top (the crisscross back is SO cute too by the way)… I think it just fits a little better if you size up, but you could definitely go true to size too.

best pic I got of her by herself for the day – and she’s eating chicken. 😉
don’t mind my weird power space – you try standing on a mixture of rock and stone 😉
Have an awesome week!!
